TikTok Content Creator (Contract – 3 Months)

Location: Remote (U.S. preferred)  

Contract Duration: 3 months with potential to extend 

Compensation: $4K–$6K/month depending on experience and output

Reports to: Director of Social Media

Experience: 2+ years

 

We’re Looking For: 

A TikTok-obsessed creator with a fast brain, funny bone, and fearless attitude. You live in the For You page, intuitively edit, and know how to make a brand feel human, weird, stylish, and scroll-stopping. You’ll work closely with our Social Media team to own TikTok creation from concept to publish.

This is a contract role focused entirely on building our TikTok presence, with room to repurpose content for Shorts or Reels as time allows.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the creative engine behind our TikTok account—pitching, filming, editing, and posting daily videos
  • Appear on-camera and/or direct others on camera as needed
  • Track trends, memes, and sounds in real-time, and jump on them while they’re still fresh
  • Develop recurring content formats or “series” that build audience familiarity and retention
  • Work closely with our Director of Social Media to align on brand voice, launch timelines, and product storytelling
  • Monitor performance and adapt based on engagement data—test fast, learn fast
  • Repurpose select content into YouTube Shorts if bandwidth allows

What Success Looks Like:

  • Posting 3–5 TikToks per day (or 90–150/month), with a mix of trends, original formats, and brand/product storytelling
  • 1–2 recurring “series” that followers recognize and engage with
  • Quick turnaround on concepts and edits
  • Engagement growth and stronger organic reach within the first 30 days

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of content creation experience with a focus on TikTok
  • Portfolio of TikToks that show you can be funny, fast, and brand-relevant
  • Excellent video editing skills using mobile tools like Edits 
  • You’re comfortable being on-camera or directing others with a strong point of view
  • You understand the nuance of brand tone—but you still know how to keep it weird in the best way
  • Reliable, communicative, and self-directed—you don’t wait for someone to tell you what’s trending
