Qualifications and skills:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar membership in at least one jurisdiction.
- Requires at least one IAPP certification (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, and/or AIGP).
- 3-5 years of relevant privacy experience, in-house and/or technology-focused law firm, with at least 2 years of in-house experience.
- Experience analyzing and advising on privacy, data protection, marketing, adtech, incident response, and AI laws, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, U.S. state privacy laws, HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST RMF, ISO 42001, SOC 2 Type 2).
- You are inquisitive and enthusiastic about technology and privacy, enjoy continually learning and being challenged, and can demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
- You are able to identify program growth opportunities and develop effective and practical solutions to resolve them.
- You have strong project management and organizational skills. You are able to prioritize and handle simultaneous projects.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a strong ability to present complex legal concepts clearly and understandably.
- Given the rapidly evolving nature of privacy and AI, you are adaptable and willing to learn and grow your skills continuously.
- You work independently, yet collaboratively, with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
- You have a desire to be part of a high-growth, transformational company.
Salary range: $165,000 - $195,000
This is a full-time exempt position. The salary range is for Base Salary. Compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.
