Purpose: This role supports AIS’s purpose of providing technology that works for our clients and revolutionizes their business while providing services they’ll fall in love with.
Major Goals:
- Maintain an On-Time Delivery performance of 98% or greater.
- Establish and maintain 97% or greater inventory accuracy through Cycle Counts.
- Establish a production throughput: (Start, Build, Set-Up, Pre-Flight, to Complete) with Copiers in 2.5 hours and Printers in 1.5 hours.
Job Functions: The Warehouse and Delivery Agent is a critical member of our Logistics team responsible for exemplifying our culture, making deliveries with a smile, and assisting in the Warehouse.
Daily tasks include, but not limited to:
- Load/Unload trucks for deliveries and receipts.
- Verify the contents of delivery against delivery paperwork.
- Deliver scheduled parts to Service Technicians in a timely manner.
- Deliver scheduled supplies to customer locations in a timely manner.
- Clean the warehouse by sweeping floors, breaking down cardboard boxes, and disposal of trash on a daily basis.
- Perform inventory management updates, transfers, and physical counts as required.
- Prepare machines for freight shipment.
- Check forklift daily and other warehouse equipment to verify if in proper working order.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Establish/maintain sales order vs. actual equipment validation prior to and leaving AIS dock.
- Establish/maintain Dispatch Track delivery and removal data integrity including leaving AIS dock, all Start/Stop times, verification of equipment delivered, photos of (Delivered/Removal) equipment, customer signature, title, and date.
- Assist with the Assembly, Build, and Set-Up of new equipment per production schedules.
- Install and set up new equipment at customer site.
- Move existing equipment to new locations as required.
- Remove old equipment from customer sites as needed.
- Verify the removal items against removal paperwork.
- Provide basic equipment operation and function training to customers.
- Provide customer service by answering any questions customers may have.
- Remove equipment that is beyond economic repair (BER) from the school sites as needed.
- Bring removed equipment back to the warehouse and tag equipment as directed from removal forms or Logistics Coordinator & Logistics Manager.
- Pick up miscellaneous items from various vendors as directed by the Logistics Manager.
- Maintain valid service and delivery records in Dispatch Track program.
- Other duties as assigned.
