Video Production & Asset Specialist
Purpose: We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Video Production & Asset Specialist to oversee the full lifecycle of our video content—from live event capture to asset management, editing, and distribution. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all video assets are captured accurately, named consistently, edited with care, and stored securely for easy access across teams. You’ll serve as a key link between production, post-production, and distribution workflows, contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality video content.
Global Leadership Network (GLN) is a nonprofit organization located in South Barrington, Illinois. Our purpose is to introduce more people to Jesus and fully follow Him. We accomplish this by serving pastors and equipping churches in order to inspire Kingdom-oriented leaders around the world through the Global Leadership Summit and other leadership development resources.
The Global Leadership Summit is attended by 60,000+ leaders in 400 sites (primarily churches) throughout the United States. The Summit is translated into 50+ languages and held in over 800 sites in 110 countries reaching over 240,000 international leaders from September to April.

Position Team: Video Team - serving Marketing & Communications
Reports to: Senior Director of Video & Creative Production
Hybrid Work Schedule: This position currently has a hybrid schedule which includes working in the office Tuesday through Thursday for two scheduled Core Weeks each month and the option to work from home or in the office on Mondays and Fridays.
Primary Responsibilities:
Video Asset Management:
- Maintain and manage a robust Video Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
- Establish, implement, and uphold file naming conventions, metadata standards, and organizational structures
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure video files meet internal standards for format, resolution, and consistency
- Archive and tag all video assets for easy retrieval and future use
Video Capture & Event Coverage:
- Record and capture live events, ensuring high-quality footage and reliable storage
- Secure, back up, and organize event footage immediately after capture
- Collaborate with event teams to plan and prepare for video capture requirements
Post-Production & Editing:
- Perform basic to intermediate video editing, including trimming, sequencing, sound syncing, and light color correction
- Create video review links for team collaboration and feedback
- Export and optimize content for various platforms (web, social media, internal sharing)
Content Distribution:
- Distribute finalized video content to relevant internal stakeholders, departments, and platforms
- Generate and manage review and download links for approval processes
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure timely and accurate content delivery
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
- Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with manager, team meetings, all-staff meetings, and cross-functional meetings, as needed.
