Scope of Position
The Retail Receiving Supervisor responsibilities include inventory control in merchandise receiving area, working with delivery personnel, and checking-in and counting merchandise received, and ensuring stock room is clean and organized.
Requirements
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
- Proficient with Jonas Software.
- Knowledge of Golf & Retail preferred.
- Cashier and financial skills required.
- Minimum of one (1) year retail supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely receipt of merchandise into inventory using Jonas software.
- Accurate and timely reconciliation of invoices and forwarding of all paperwork to the Accounting department.
- Ensure retail receiving and products/inventory is accurately accounted for.
- Liaise with guests and members to place special orders with vendors and assure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Assist General Manager with managing labor and expense budgets.
- Thorough knowledge of merchandise and equipment in order to assist guests with their purchases.
- Preparing invoices and accurately utilizing purchasing system to ensure timely payment for Accounting.
- Following-up with vendors and guests/members on special orders and order status.
- Mark new merchandise and restock.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
Education
- High school diploma or GED.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), math skills to complete inventory counts and register reconciliations.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds.
- Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
