Draken is searching for an experienced Nondestructive Testing Technician to maintain F-16 A/B models at the Romanian Air Force (RoAF) F-16 Training Center at the 86th Air Base, near Borcea, Romania.  These aircraft will be used to train RoAF pilots.

Responsibilities

  • Performs NDT inspections and specialized inspections
  • Setup, calibrate an utilize NDT testing equipment
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards
  • Evaluate, interpret and report results of inspections
  • Maintain documentation of inspection activities
  • Assist with writing new specifications and standards
  • Maintain NDT certifications
  • Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • High school/GED
  • Must have at least 3 years of nondestructive testing experience
  • Must be able to obtain Level II Certification method: PT, MT, UT, ET
  • Ability to handle chemicals in a safe manner
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English

Work environment: hangar and flight-line with ability to regularly stand, climb, stoop, bend, push, kneel, walk, on a regular basis
