Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field is preferred; HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
· Three plus years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 2 years in a Human Resources Management, Sr. Generalist or Generalist role.
· Strong working knowledge of federal and NYS employment laws and HR best practices.
· Proven ability to coach and train managers on employee development and compliance.
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced DC environment.
· Proven experience in working with safety committees; safety programs and workers compensation management
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
· Must have experience working in a distribution, manufacturing, or similar operation.
· Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
· Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.
· Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
· Light mental and visual attention are required for performing work where there is some variety, but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities. Work requires some coordination with others.
Environmental Conditions:
This position is based on-site at the Distribution Center and requires regular interaction on the floor with employees and managers. Occasional travel to corporate offices or other locations may be required.
