Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organization's financial well-being. Leveraging financial expertise, you’ll generate reports, analyze trends, and contribute to building budgets and forecasts that guide our financial strategy. You will also provide financial analysis to financial managers and business leaders to support strategic decision-making.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and economic data.
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Generate financial reports and presentations, effectively communicating results and trends to financial managers and business leaders.
Financial Planning & Budgeting:
- Participate in the budgeting and planning process, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for revenue growth.
- Build and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, providing recommendations for course correction.
Strategic Support & Guidance:
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial implications of business initiatives.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activity, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
Financial Controls & Best Practices:
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and maintain strong internal controls.
- Participate in the monthly/quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
