TITLE:                      TEMPORARY STAFFING COORDINATOR                

FLSA STATUS:        NON-EXEMPT

REPORTS TO:         MANAGER OF STAFFING AND COMPENSATION

SUMMARY:              

Under the direction of the Manager of Staffing and Compensation, the Staffing Coordinator will support the staffing team in interview scheduling and coordination. In this role, you will communicate with candidates and our internal employees to coordinate calendaring interviews and then assist with the onboarding process as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate, schedule, and adjust interviews between candidates and interview teams
  • Manage candidate communications about interview schedules and confirmations
  • Support staffing team with recruiting and/or other events, including preparing materials for interviewers and candidates, check-in process, event set up and attendee management
  • Support the HR team with orientation onboarding including preparation, printing documents and
  • Assist with filing HR documents
  • Additional projects as needed such as assisting with social media accounts or messaging
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures as required
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level*

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of work experience in a Staffing or HR environment as part of a team
  • Previous experience scheduling interviews
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Milpitas, Monday through Friday

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or Business and/or equivalent related experience
  • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of contractors, consultants, employees, and management
  • Ability to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Flexible and able to prioritize

The hourly rate for this temporary position is between $20.00-26.00 + benefits. Within the range the individual pay may differ depending on additional factors including job responsibilities, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience. The hourly pay range shown is subject to change and may be modified periodically.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The Staffing Coordinator works primarily in an office environment from Monday to Friday. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed.  Stands, sits, and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends, and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other office equipment.  May occasionally push, pull, or lift up to 10 or more pounds.
