The Project Coordinator is an entry level position responsible for assisting the project management team in overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of the assigned projects. Some familiarity with the Construction or Contractor industries may be required. This position reports to the VP of Engineering and Project Management.
Duties and responsibilities
- Review project specifications and communicate with the detailing team to ensure quality and project requirements are met.
- Read, interpret, and respond to emails and correspondence external and internal contacts.
- Assist in project creation and setup.
- Assist in preparing submittal packages for project managers and rebar detailers.
- Import rebar releases, as requested by project managers.
- Enter bar listings for orders in the system.
- Maintain a submittal log of all projects assigned.
- Keep project documents, and other files relative to the job.
- Ensure overall success of the project.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Other related duties as assigned.
