Cage Cashier

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Open/close banks and balance end paperwork.
• Assume accountability for large sums of money.
• Count back money on all transactions.
• Cash checks and VISA.
• Transfer sums of money from one point to another.
• Load and unload money from carts.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous money handling experience helpful.
• High school diploma or GED required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong guest service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to accurately count money and make change.
• Able to use a 10-key calculator.

UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Normal mobility throughout the facility.
• Able to lift over 20 pounds.
• Able to push heavy carts.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
