Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Produce buffet food.
  • Set up buffet server area by opening time.
  • Run pizza station, hot left and back kitchen.
  • Keep buffet area clean and organized.
  • Work with all kitchen cooking equipment.
  • Provide a consistently high level of service.
  • Identify issues and suggest potential solutions.
  • Promote an atmosphere of teamwork.
  • Take direction from the Banquet Lead Cook.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a full-service restaurant required.
  • Experience with buffet food and banquets preferred, but not required.

  • Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
  • Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Mobility throughout the facility.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to tolerate heat.
  • Good coordination and manual dexterity.
