EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, casino security or law enforcement required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience with Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel Security Department as an Assistant Security Shift Supervisor or one year of supervisory experience in security or law enforcement required.
- EMT/First Responder, CPR and First Aid certification, or certification within 6 months of hire required.
- Must possess a valid drivers license. Applicants with an out-of-state license must obtain a Minnesota license within 30 days of hire.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Knowledge of Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and Security Department policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of casino gaming, blackjack, slots, bingo, etc.
- Knowledge in conducting investigations and documentation for further criminal proceedings.
- Knowledge of various forms of identification.
- Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Jackpot Junction Casino Hotels floorplan.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with directors, managers and employees.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

- Mobility throughout the facility.
- Physical fitness level which allows for continuous mobility throughout the facility and for the control unruly guests.

- Vision correctable to a minimum of 20/40.
- Good hearing ability.
