Qualifications include a minimum of a B.A./B.S. in planning, urban design, economics, accounting, business, finance or related field. Masters preferred.
5+ years in planning, urban development, economic development, real estate development or related field. Real estate finance or development experience preferred.
Personal computer skills in Microsoft office products a must.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to analyze complex business financials and economic incentives. Must display an expert understanding of economic development tools. Good oral, presentation, and written communication skills. Ability to work with the public and public officials.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- B.A./B.S. in planning, urban design, economics, accounting, business, finance or related field. Masters preferred.
- 5+ years in planning, urban development, economic development, real estate development or related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Exposure to elements during site visits.
- Requires the ability to lift and carry files/papers of up to twenty pounds.
- Requires the ability to stoop, crouch, balance, bend, and climb during site visits.
- Requires the ability to distinguish objects clearly in near vision for writing and computer work.
