Description

Job Title: Infrared Thermography Analyst (RCM Analyst Technician)

Department/Division: Facilities Operations

 

Brief Position Summary:

Performs thermal imaging inspections to detect abnormal heating conditions in electrical and mechanical systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thermal imaging inspections of electrical distribution systems, mechanical equipment, and facility infrastructure.
  • Identify hotspots, potential failure points, and thermal anomalies using infrared cameras and analysis software.
  • Develop inspection routes and maintain thermal imaging records in compliance with DHA guidance.
  • Generate infrared thermography reports and communicate findings to the RCM Program Manager and maintenance teams.
  • Support NFPA 70B requirements for routine thermographic surveys on critical power and HVAC systems.
  • Coordinate inspections with operations teams to minimize service disruptions during thermal scans.
  • Maintain infrared imaging equipment, ensuring calibration and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Assist in analyzing thermal trends and making recommendations for corrective and preventive maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Certified Level II in Infrared Thermography.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or healthcare facility inspections.
  • CPR and NFPA 70E Arc Flash Safety required.

 

Special Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
