POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead Financial Analyst at UniPro plays a pivotal role in supporting all departments by offering comprehensive forecasting, and analytical insights. This position covers a diverse range of financial analytics, including supplier program modifications, member engagement, Peachtree returns, assessment income impacts on P&L for NDA, evaluations of Member impacts on revised Assessments and Dues schedules, and NDA statement commentary.
Primary Responsibilities
National Distribution Alliance (NDA):
- Utilize MTrac system data, manual reports, and rate sheets to calculate NDA department income and operator incentives.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and annual budget for the NDA Department.
- Lead or participate in monthly NDA meeting to discuss results and analyze budget variances.
- Collaborate with NDA department, Finance, IT department, and external contacts to reconcile discrepancies between MTrac system data and external reports.
- Manage documentation of rate sheets to accurately detail member and affiliate assessment rates and operator incentives/rebates.
- Prepare reports for member assessments, affiliate fees, and operator rebates.
- Support general ledger activities such as journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
Financial Forecasting and Analysis:
- Partner with department heads to understand their financial needs and provide proactive guidance.
- Complete and analyze quarterly forecasts benchmarking tool for UniPro members available on the company website.
- Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis projects across various business areas including EDA/SPA, titled sales, other income (ProAct/PFL), expenses, and MAP/CAP.
- Utilize various UniPro Systems to obtain data for forecasting and analysis.
- Assist in the review and audit of Supplier reporting for EDA and SPA.
- Support the review of Supplier contracts and compliance.
- Participate in special projects as needed by various UniPro departments.
Senior Management Support:
- Manage Stockholder Member voting, including updating votes by Member based on voting date, informing management daily of active voting status, and summarizing final vote count.
- Model potential changes in UniPro assessment and dues based on CEO and Board input. Model impact on income and expense for both Members and UniPro.
- Provide ad-hoc analytics, such as SWAT reporting, late invoice analysis, and support for UniPro acquisitions.

This position reports to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
Internal collaboration with personnel from Finance, NDA, LFA, Marketing, and IT departments. Direct interaction with Senior Management on various projects. External engagement with UniPro Suppliers and Membership as required.Â
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or related roles preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and intermediate to advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage concurrent priorities and convey confidence working with department heads and senior management.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
