Position Summary

Inside Plant Contractor Team Lead and Project Manager role will be responsible primarily for leading the overall customer experience, assisting the sales effort and ultimately supporting and growing business for water and wastewater plant contractors. Take-off’s, Order Entry, Purchase Orders, Customer Service, Delivery Coordination and customer relations will be a top priority. This position will assist with some operational functions such as inventory control, invoicing, and quality control issues and will lead the plant contractor infrastructure team.

  1. Search for plant projects to work on in CITCO geographic territory.
  2. Work with Sales Staff and contractor customers on contractor quotations, orders and purchase orders
  3. Do Plant Piping Take-offs
  4. Do Product Submittals for Engineer’s Approval
  5. Follow Jobs from opportunity to completion
  6. Work with contractors to release projects, write sales orders, follow up on product availability, schedule deliveries, assist with understanding product installations, solve field issues. 
  7. Quality Control check orders for accuracy, follow all backorders for fulfillment
  8. Have relationships with vendors that will fulfill the orders for the contractor customers.
  9. Work directly with Customers on growing their business with CITCO Water
  10. Job Estimating and Take-offs
  11. Enters orders
  12. Collects and enters proper PO, Ship to Address, customer contact name and phone number, and any special delivery instructions
  13. Communicates sales leads to outside sales staff, as well as commits any leads to CITCO CRM software
  14. Researches and updates customer contact information, sales history, customer product pricing, vendor product pricing, and basic market pricing knowledge
  15. Apply industry and product knowledge to service our customers and train Citco Water Staff
    1. Local Customer Specifications
    2. General pipe, valve, fittings knowledge, e.g. pipe types, and O.D., Waterworks Brass, pipe fittings, fire hydrants, basic valves
  16. Daily invoice processing and other branch procedures as needed.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business management, sales or related field OR 2-3 years experience
  2. Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office programs. Basic understanding of how to use office equipment, e.g. Print, copy, fax, scan
  3. General knowledge of CITCO core products as listed in essential functions
