PRINT PROGRAMMER

We are looking for a Print Programmer to join our team to help create and maintain print applications and workflows.

 Duties would include:

• Creating and updating print applications that use customer-provided art and variable data
• Transform data to work with our systems if necessary
• Writing additional documentation for support staff and customers
• Answering customer questions that lower levels of support are not equipped to handle
• Helping other technical staff complete programming projects

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of Adobe products – especially Acrobat
• Has worked with different data types (PDF, delimited, fixed-length)
• Can write good, clean process documentation
• Good verbal communication skills with internal team and customers
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Works well with non-technical staff and customers

Preferred Skills:

• Objectif Lune PlanetPress 7 / PlanetPress Connect
• Experience with Solimar tools for PDF workflows like Rubika
• Scripting language (e.g. Python or Perl) to transform data

Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
