Radio Frequency Engineer

Job Overview:

The RF Engineer - (Telecom) will support our organizations growing DAS/CBRS installation & construction division. The individual hired into this role will be responsible for DAS network analysis and Inbuilding DAS & Small Cell installation, commissioning, and optimization. Essential Job Functions:

• Onsite management of projects including documentation of job safety analysis, sweep & PIM test results and drawings
• Conduct RF site surveys: report findings & perform network measurements on iDAS/oDAS systems
• Regular customer communication via in-person as well as phone & e-mail
• Inbuilding DAS and Small Cell configuration and commissioning
• Manage customer generated trouble tickets/system alarms
• Project management: maintain schedule, documentation, coordinates & cost estimates
• Assist wireless carriers in DAS enhancement through the utilization of RFscanners & test phones

Education:

• Associates or bachelors degree in Engineering preferred (Electrical, Electrical Engineering)

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of (3) years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in Technology or Telecommunications, and/or military background
• Minimum (1) year of experience in the cellular/telecommunications/wireless communication industry
• Ability to read Vision, CAD and IBwave drawings
• Knowledge of RF engineering concepts- signal, noise & power
• Experience with IT configuration & software/hardware commissioning
• Superb written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving ability
