EDUCATION/POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CDL driver’s license with Class A endorsement (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
Minimum Requirements
- Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
- Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must be able and willing to obtain Basic First Aid and CPR Certification (company-provided)
- Must be willing to assist in any task that needs to be completed on the project.
- Must be open to extended times away from home and working holidays.
- Customer and labor-effective communication.
- Understand and follow all assigned job tasks.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to follow specific job requirements and recognize potential dangers.
- Work extended and irregular hours to restore service.
- Travel long distances when needed; work out of town and/or state when necessary.
- Work in inclimate weather conditions
EQUIPMENT/TOOL REQUIREMENTS
- Climbing Tools including but not limited to: Climbing Belt, 100% approved fall protection safety, secondary lanyard, Climbers (Hooks), basic Lineman hand tools.

Due to the nature and scope of the essential functions, the importance of personal interactions with coworkers and members of the public, and the availability of job-related tools, equipment, and resources at work, the performance of the essential functions requires regular, consistent availability, accessibility, and presence on-site.
A minimum of 40 hours/week may be required to efficiently perform the job duties of this position, including presence at designated internal and external meetings. This position may also require availability and accessibility to respond to and address emergencies and critical situations outside of regular business operating hours in the evenings and/or during weekends.
Environmental & Physical Conditions
The work environment conditions described here represent those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. This position works primarily in the field and is exposed to all weather conditions, including temperature extremes and rainy environments. The outdoor setting involves all types of property and site conditions, including open spaces, timberlands, urban developments, flat and hilly terrain, building construction sites, and road rights-of-way.
