Summary
The Brand/Product Manager helps meet our customer and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. Responsible for maximizing sales potential for the American Standard and Mitsubishi equipment lines, crafting sales plans to expand the company’s market share for these brands and justifying those plans to management.
Job Duties:
American Standard and Mitsubishi Brands
- With the guidance and direction of the HVAC Business Manager, work closely with our American Standard and Mitsubishi Factory Representatives to design and support programs that will lead to our mutual success. Set forth plans and goals that will maximize efficiencies and effectiveness of these programs
Territory Managers
- Work directly with all Territory Managers (HVAC, Res. Plumbing, and Commercial) to support their goals and initiatives that directly impact the growth and prosperity of the HVAC Department along with the American Standard and Mitsubishi brands
New Account/Dealer Development
- Work with HVAC Business Manager and Territory Managers to create a target list and plan for new account and dealer acquisition.
- Focus efforts where market share is weakest
- Maximize opportunities where our share is the greatest
Strategic Business Plan
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that grows market share for the American Standard, Mitsubishi and Northeastern HVAC Department.
- Design plan based on company initiatives
- Execute plan in accordance to goals established
Pricing/Margins
- Pricing needs to be managed closely to ensure margins are at or above established levels
- Work with HVAC Business Manager and Territory Manager to closely manage customer pricing situations and ensure these goals are maintained
Customer Entertainment
- All trips and customer entertainment events are a requirement
- Work and build a rapport with company’s customers regardless of what division they are assigned to (HVAC Customer Base is primary responsibility)
Dealer Customer Base
- Along with Territory Manager’s and HVAC Business Manager maintain regular contact with several of our key American Standard and Mitsubishi Dealers
- Use visits and phone calls to determine the current state of our key dealers
Promote all American Standard and Mitsubishi programs and initiatives
- Along with HVAC Business Manager and Marketing Manager oversee and help manage the following:
- Customer Care
- Ductless Pros
- Financing
- Dealer meetings
- Factory tours
- Incentive rebates
Communication
- Continually demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Miscellaneous Management
- Keep up with all required paperwork
- Manage expenses
- Assist HVAC Business Manager with account assignment suggestions
- Work closely with other management team members
- Continually empower HVAC team members and assist HVAC Business Manager in promoting a positive team attitude.
