As a Part - time or Full - time Guest Room Attendant at Fairfield Inn in Las cruces, New Mexico, you will be integral to maintaining the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, your core responsibilities will include thorough cleaning and floor care of guest rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your experience in hospitality settings and customer service practices will enhance our guests' stay, while your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will reflect our brand's values.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education & Experience: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Physical requirements:

  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Weekends & Holidays.
  • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
     
  • Work environment:

  • Indoor and outdoor hotel building, rooms, facilities and structures

  • Comply with BC Lynd Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Maintain a warm, friendly and positive attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort.
  • Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
  • Manage housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance issues.
  • Provide excellent hospitality to guests, addressing their needs and requests promptly.
  • Uphold hotel standards by following established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient room turnover and guest satisfaction.
