JOB SUMMARY:
Half Acre Beer Co. is looking for a brewery representative to cover a sales territory within the Chicago Beverage footprint.
We are looking for a motivated, organized and relentlessly positive individual to join our team. The primary duties will be managing Half Acre’s current business and account base in the defined territory as wells as identifying new opportunities and developing new business in your area. A Half Acre Sales Rep will be a strong advocate for Half Acre values in market - utilizing our portfolio and marketing tools as well as consultative sales practices to increase visibility and velocity in the trade. Overarching focus on achieving Half Acre’s sales and distribution goals with planned market activity.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively sell the full Half Acre portfolio to increase distribution, volume and overall market presence.
- Develop and maintain relationships in core account base and with distributor partner[s] to drive results.
- Use data to develop your sales plans/routes; 40 account calls per week – expected to be in-market 4.5 days per week.
- Engage consumers with Half Acre’s brands; develop and execute a range of market and account events; availability to work some nights and weekends for events/samplings.
- Utilize VIP/Karma (CRM) to log/communicate market activity and create recaps for distributors.
- Responsible for hitting quarterly KPIs that will guide in-market activity and focus.
- Leads marketing program execution in defined territory.
- Communicates efficiently to sales management market conditions & other market level information.
- Occasional travel to outer markets.
- Be willing and able to drive throughout a very large territory to rep Half Acre.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
