Website and Multimedia Manager (Onsite)

 

The Website and Multimedia Manager at Fort Worth Country Day, reporting to the Communications and Constituent Relations Manager, is a vital member of the Advancement Team. This position plays a key role in the School’s storytelling efforts, focusing on enhancing website engagement through compelling content (75%). Additionally, this role involves creating and editing videos related to advancement endeavors, fundraising efforts, alumni relations, and other key initiatives, ensuring that the content effectively supports and drives the School’s strategic priorities (25%). An overall goal of the position is to educate, inform and motivate support for Fort Worth Country Day’s mission. This is a full-time, salary exempt role.

 

Primary duties:

  • Maximizing the FWCD website through robust maintenance, ongoing content review, timely updates and development of new content
  • Managing the FWCD website by writing and editing text; creating graphics, video and other digital media; maintaining digital eNewsletter archives; dispersing copy throughout the website; and editing digital photography
  • Overseeing the School’s web presence to strengthen brand awareness and ensure brand integrity.
  • Collaborating with Interactive Schools, FWCD’s website host.
  • Managing Blackbaud software and database integration processes.
  • Providing support to Alumni Relations in the web creation and maintenance of FWCD Connect and Auxiliary Services for the maintenance of the Fort Wonder Camps and Falcon Athletics Camps websites
  • Collaborating with the Technology Department and Blackbaud to troubleshoot and maintain data integrations with the website
  • Optimizing website content for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and refining content with keyword strategies to increase rankings on search networks
  • Assisting with Search Engine Marketing initiatives and Pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns related to the FWCD Admission Office
  • Tracking, reporting and evaluating website analytics
  • Researching best practices, emerging web development strategies and external resources to enhance the School’s online presence 
  • Providing template design and coding for eNewsletters
  • Assisting in creating online forms for event registrations, RSVPs, information collection, etc.  
  • Providing photo and video coverage for School events.
  • Organizing and maintaining digital photos (Vidigami) and video (Vimeo and YouTube) archives.
  • Managing photography and videos on digital screens in various areas on campus 
  • Collaborating with departments on campus, such as academic divisions, athletics, fine arts and admission, to maintain web presence
  • Other duties as assigned

 

As a member of the Advancement Team, the person in this position will be asked to assist with campus special events, alumni events and fundraising events beyond the typical work day as needed.

 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in digital media, with extensive knowledge of web design principles and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite/Workplace products, and analytics and digital publishing; Blackbaud experience a plus, but not required.
  • Strong skills in writing, editing and creating digital media content (text, graphics, video) 
  • Experience in video production, creation and editing. 
  • Knowledge and experience with SEO, SEM and PPC best practices.
  • Strong project management skills and analytical abilities, partnered with a creative mind.
  • Experience in taking engaging photographs; photo editing experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
