Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Pagosa Springs Medical Center has an opportunity available for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our existing team of two talented CRNAs.

• CRNA Anesthesia Services:  Routine cases (no hearts/neuro); no OB.
• Schedule: 
  • Shifts/Call:  Monday through Friday anesthesia shift services for thirty-five (35) weeks per year with 24/7 call for seventeen (17) of the 35 shift weeks. 
  • Time off:  17 off weeks a year with no shifts or call obligations.
• Compensation:  The salary range is $220,000 to $250,000, depending upon skills and experience.

  • Retirement with Employer contribution:  PSMC employees contribute 6% of earnings to a 401a retirement plan and PSMC contributes a matching 6% all subject to I.R.S. contribution and compensation limits and five-year vesting.  All employees may make additional voluntary retirement contributions to a 457 plan.

• Skills and Experience: 
  • Must have a minimum of four (4) years experience in anesthesia;
  • Must have experience, skills and comfort with ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and Emergency Department procedures including arterial line and central line placement.  Prefer PICC-line certification (but not required).
  • Certified as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
