Full-Time or Part-Time Non-invasive Cardiologist

Pagosa Springs Medical Center has an opportunity available for a full-time or part-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist. The physician’s duties will include management of Cardiology patients including examination, treatment, consultation, follow-up, referral, and ordering labs/imaging. The physician will also participate in patient satisfaction programs, quality improvement initiatives and any organizational or departmental goals and objectives to assure safe, quality care. The physician will work in PSMC’s Specialty Clinic on a schedule that meets PSMC patient needs while supporting work/life balance. 

• SCHEDULE:
  1. Full-Time: Approximately 16 10-hour shifts per month
  2. Part-Time: Approximately 8 10-hour shifts per month
• COMPENSATION:

1. $2,000 per 10-hour shift
2. Annual CME Bonus: $3,000

• RETIREMENT:
  1. 401a (mandatory plan): employee and employer each contribute 6% of earnings subject to five-year vesting.
  2. 457: optional retirement plan.
