Duties and responsibilities
- Continue classroom and in field training to prepare for CDL A road test.
- 40 hours of classroom theory instruction
- 20 hours at minimum of behind the wheel road instruction
- 20 hours at minimum of observation of road instruction
- 100 hours at minimum of range instruction (consisting of backing Maneuvers and Pre-Trip inspections)
- Up to 60 hours of additional training and observation.
- Minimum of 72 hours of on-the-job training with Drivers/Trainers
- Pass CDL A Road Test and acquire CDL A.
- Utilize the correct PPE for all situations.
- Understands & preserves Compliance and Safety.
- Maintain vehicle interior cleanliness (neat & organized)
- Maintain work area/yard cleanliness and organization.
- Ride along with company driver, gain an understanding of driver operations and work completed within their daily functions.
- Regular Attendance & Punctuality
