About the Role

As a Provider Operations Coordinator at Liberty Dental Plan, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Provider Network team by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring the accuracy of provider contracts and documentation. Your responsibilities will include:

Contract Review and Documentation:

  • Reviewing provider contracts, fee schedules and credentialing applications to ensure accuracy and completeness before processing.
  • Verifying updates and terminations from Network Managers and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.

Process Improvement and Coordination:

  • Collaborating with Network Managers and leadership to update and monitor tracking tools for various projects.
  • Communicating contract issues to management and proposing process improvements for greater efficiency.

Research and Cross-Functional Support:

  • Researching systems and collaborating with other departments to resolve provider network questions.
  • Supporting various departmental projects and completing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Project Assistance:

  • Providing administrative and operational support for special projects initiated by the Provider Network leadership team.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience in network management within a Dental PPO or DHMO environment, dental office management, managed healthcare, sales, or customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (bilingual skills are a plus).
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently while meeting objectives and deadlines.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage provider inquiries effectively.
  • A proactive approach to identifying problems, conducting research, and following through to resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in processing provider contracts within a Dental PPO or DHMO environment.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with provider network operations.
  • Experience with process improvement or administrative support in a healthcare setting.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr., not including fringe benefits or potential bonuses. At Liberty, your final base salary will be determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We are committed to pay equity and also consider the internal equity of our current team members when making final compensation decisions.

Please note that the range listed represents the full base salary range for this role. Typically, offers are not made at the top of the range to allow for future salary growth.
