Recreation Attendant

THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2025 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF NOVEMBER)

Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Recreation/Retail Attendant. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will have recreation/activities/retail experience, possess an upbeat leadership style, and have experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Recreation Attendant is to recruit, register and schedule guests to participate in the recreational activities offered by Mission Point Resort and provide exceptional service to our guests during the resort hosted activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School or equivalent education with experience in recreation/activities/retail operations
• Ability to follow detailed and specific procedures and processes in completing department and/or project tasks
• Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
