Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Attendant. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Warehouse Attendant is to work with the Purchasing & Receiving Manager to ensure that the highest standards for cleanliness, safety and sanitation are maintained throughout the storerooms. This individual will assist in maintaining inventory par levels of food and beverage items, moving food and beverage product to the appropriate outlets and perform duties in an accident-free manner. This position reports to the Purchasing & Receiving Manager and Executive Chef.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of purchasing/receiving experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of Receiving processes and procedures
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the department
• Ability to regularly lift and move inventory from 25 to 50 pounds
• Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, lift on a regular basis
• Ability to work on Mackinac Island seasonally
