THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2025 SEASON (NOW THROUGH THE END OF OCTOBER)

Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Food and Beverage Administrative Assistant. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the F&B Administrative assistant is to provide administrative support to the Director of Restaurants and Executive Chef including designing and printing menus, assisting with payroll, tip reports, and organizing banquet event orders for the food and beverage front of house and culinary staff.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous knowledge of the restaurant industry preferred.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions guided by policy and procedures.
• Must be able to learn quickly and be able to learn on the job.
• Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team.
• Be professional, responsible and mature in conduct and behavior.
• Must be understanding, encouraging and friendly to all co-workers.
• Be self-motivated and use time wisely.
• Be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Knowledge of the Island, hotel and its services and facilities.
