Pay ranges from $21 - $30 per hour depending on multiple factors, including specific location, individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to the competitive pay, this role offers part-time benefits, including:

Responsibilities 

Our teachers work in small groups with students at a 3 student to one teacher ratio. C2 Education offers teachers strong administrative and leadership support so they can focus solely on what matters: helping students. Our Education Coordinators and Center Directors for each center take care of the scheduling. Center Directors and District Managers handle communication with parents.  

  • Tutor students in small groups (3 students max). 
  • Tailor C2 Education’s proprietary curriculum on SAT, ACT, AP, and school subjects to students’ needs. 
  • Track and analyze student progress. 
  • Attending required training and staff meetings. 

Schedule 

  • Sessions are conducted after school hours to accommodate students and are typically Monday – Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Each location may vary. 

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.).  
  • Ability to tutor in-person. 
  • Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test. 
  • Authorized to work in the US. 
  • A clear Criminal Background Check. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • AP-level knowledge in at least one or more subjects.
