Job Summary:
KIPP Atlanta Schools seeks a dynamic Foundations and Corporate Giving Manager to lead, manage, and strengthen the organization’s relationships with foundations and corporate donors. Working closely with the Managing Director of Development & Engagement, this role is critical in advancing KIPP Atlanta Schools’ mission by expanding philanthropic partnerships, maximizing donor engagement, and securing sustainable funding. As we continue to grow our donor base, this position will play a key role in cultivating relationships with existing funders while actively pursuing new opportunities within the philanthropic sector. The Foundations and Corporate Giving Manager will implement and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, ensuring alignment across all areas of development. This role is ideal for a goal-driven, strategic, and relationship-oriented professional who is passionate about education, equity, and social impact. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong project management, fundraising, and communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of foundation prospects and donors, cultivating and maintaining long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute tailored cultivation plans for each foundation in your portfolio.
- Create compelling presentation decks, proposals, and reports for foundation donors, supporting the Development team in engaging major trust and foundation prospects.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective foundation donors, tracking progress through the fundraising cycle.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure timely grant renewals, reporting, and compliance with foundation requirements, coordinating with charity partners to develop report content.
- Ensure all external communications with foundation stakeholders are timely, precise, and professional.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect research, donor engagement, and reporting in the CRM system.
- Develop and oversee reporting processes to provide updates to the Senior Management Team and Development Committee.
- Support the Impact Events Team in executing major fundraising, stewardship, and cultivation events.
- Uphold best practices in donor relations, comply with organizational policies and procedures, and contribute proactively to the team’s success in advancing the organization’s mission.

- Develop fundraising strategies to increase corporate donor acquisition and retention, expand the donor base, and ensure corporate giving meets ambitious fundraising goals.
- Conduct outreach to corporations to secure funding and strengthen partnerships.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to develop high-impact sponsorship decks, donor packets, and other engagement materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate donors and prospects, provide logistical and organizational support, and ensure ongoing engagement.
- Collaborate with the team, board, and development committee to build and maintain a robust pipeline of corporate prospects.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects, aligning cultivation and solicitation strategies with their philanthropic interests and organizational needs.
- Establish and maintain consistent corporate donor cultivation and stewardship practices.
- Support organizational leaders and board members in corporate engagement efforts, including outreach, briefing preparation, and follow-up coordination.
- Lead corporate stewardship activities with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Analyze corporate giving data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and address gaps in funding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align corporate giving strategies with programmatic and organizational needs.
- Utilize standard operating procedures to track donor engagement, manage moves management, and ensure accurate data entry for donors and prospects.

- To engage donors, prospects, and corporate partners, execute key fundraising events, including Are You Smarter Than a KIPPster? and Night of Impact as well as other future related events.Â
- Leverage events to drive individual and corporate donor engagement, integrating fundraising strategies into event planning.
- Partner with the Impact Team to create in-person and virtual opportunities to introduce new stakeholders to KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools' mission and impact.
- Work cross-functionally to enhance event-related stewardship efforts, ensuring seamless donor experiences.
- Support the Development and Marketing/Communications teams executing the end-of-year appeal and event-related outreach.
- To maximize impact, help identify and coordinate partner engagement opportunities across advocacy, athletics, foundations, and corporate sponsorships.
- Assist the Impact Team and KIPP Metro Atlanta Support Team with additional projects.
