Description

This is a genera! labor position performed in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions

  • Load and unload raw materials and finished product Accurately complete reports and paperwork as assigned. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Creating and maintaining a safe work environment for self and others. Cross training when needed or required.
  • Willingness and ability to work other positions when needed.
  • Effectively communicate with management, prior shift, staff and others on a daily, weekly and/or as need basis. Requires material be moved from one position/location to another in an effort to produce a finished quality product. Muscular, cardiovascular and upper/lower body manipulation is used to move the product through a process.
  • Responsible for checking, recognizing, reporting and correcting the quality of product

  • Operate various types of equipment as needed

Work Environment

  • High noise !eve!, high heat during summer and cold during winter months. Exposure to metals stampings, welding and parts fabrication operations. Personal Protective Equipment

  • Safety glasses, ear plugs, safely shoes, gloves and any other PPE as required.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with co-workers.
  • Ability to utilize available lime to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Ability to meet daily, weekly and monthly goals set by Management and self.
  • Possess the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task. Ability lo perform work accurately and thoroughly with little supervision at limes.
  • Ability to organize and direct oneself.
  • Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues. Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to complete assigned task under stressful situations.
  • Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.

The Production Technician must be able to meet the following physical demands within a normal work schedule:
