The Sinas Dramis Law Firm is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to provide support to shareholder, Catherine (Katie) Tucker and associate attorney, Kelly Todd, who both specialize in personal injury litigation. This is a great opportunity for someone who has high ethical standards, is dedicated, has excellent organizational and time management skills, and would like to contribute to the success of an outstanding law firm.

This role is critical in providing a high level of support to Katie and Kelly in all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will be reliable, responsive, and be extremely organized. Position responsibilities include but, not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of confidential and multifaceted tasks of a clerical nature;
  • Calendaring and scheduling important dates;
  • Assists with court filings and mailings;
  • Communicates with clients, court personnel and opposing counsel's office, as needed, on logistical matters;
  • Conveys routine information to client regarding legal or contractual issues;
  • Establishes and maintains litigation and other files, correspondence, records, certificates, and other documents;
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience as a legal assistant; experience working in a plaintiff's law firm or medical office is a plus.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Strong experience and expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Ability to work independently while managing changing priorities and projects
  • Basic knowledge of business machines (copier, scanner, printer, etc.)
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, organization, and planning
  • Must be able to work in person and be reliable

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in an office setting; experience working in a law firm or medical office is a plus.
