SNU Lab School Child Care- Student Worker

Part-Time / $10.00 per hour

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 8:00 am and/or 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for fun and energetic college students who enjoy working and playing

with kids! You do not need to be an early childhood or elementary education major; you

just need to have a love for kids! Our future teacher(s) is someone who is responsible,

enthusiastic, and not afraid to engage with kids.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:

• Our calendar primarily coincides with the SNU calendar. We are open Monday
• through Friday before and after school, with holiday breaks.
• Before school: 6:45-8:00 am. After school: 3:00-6:00 pm.
• Engage with students in organized play
• Monitor a room of students interacting with one another
• Serve snacks
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Southern Nazarene University is an expression of the Church of the Nazarene. • An understanding of the importance for diversity, inclusion and equity.
• High school graduate
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands in fast paced work environment
• Typing and spelling competency
• Experience with various computer software applications
• Data entry experience

Supervision Received:

Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.
