This position provides direct mental health treatment services to youth in an outpatient setting, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met under clinical supervision. The role involves conducting diagnostic assessments, developing individualized service plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions designed to stabilize psychiatric conditions and promote reintegration into family, education, and community activities. It oversees the activities of the Youth Outpatient Program, serving as an administrative and clinical supervisor for assigned clinicians while fostering positive collaboration with other social service agencies. The position requires maintaining accurate clinical documentation, adhering to ethical and professional standards, and completing required training and supervision hours. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides limited individual, group, and family counseling under clinical supervision that meets productivity and quality requirements set by the Agency and that is within the limits of services permitted by license and scope of practice.
- Develops and implements individual and group activities designed to resolve and stabilize decompensating psychiatric conditions. Provides educational, rehabilitative, and therapeutic activities designed to facilitate a return to, or continuation of, family, education, and/or community activities.
- Develops and maintains quality, accurate clinical charts for all clients served.
- Serves as the Administrative and Clinical supervisor for assigned Outpatient clinicians.
- Develops and maintains positive collaboration with other social service agencies serving clients. Provides consultation if needed.
- Provides only those services authorized by Utilization Management and provides services within the authorized frequency and duration of services. Requests additional services when initial authorization has been met.
- Written assessment of individual’s history, mental status, strengths, needs, and resources including recommendations for treatment completed within 24 hours of the assessment.
