WHAT YOU WILL BRING
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- 0-2 years shipping and receiving experience.
- Experience with HIPAA helpful, but not required.
- Experience with lot controlled inventory helpful, but not required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must be comfortable with computers and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using shipping software programs such as FedEx Ship Manager or UPS WorldShip highly desirable.
- Must have valid Drivers License and Insurance in order to drive company van.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:
- Must have valid Drivers License and Insurance in order to drive company van.
- Must be in good physical condition and have the ability to grasp and follow various sets of standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Must have the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and third parties in order to ensure quality customer service.
- Must work efficiently and independently and possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve while remaining organized and attentive to detail.
- Must be an initiative learner and proactively participate in improving systems for the overall development and improvement of the department and company.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Physical demands include walking, standing up to 5 hours, bending, lifting, stooping, hearing, climbing steps/ladders, reaching, grasping, kneeling.
- Repetitive motions or performing other light physical exertion on an occasional basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including working over shoulders.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to stay focused for extended amount of time.
