Internal Communications Specialist

The Internal Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing messaging and delivery across the internal organization, building an informed culture of engagement. This position will collaborate with teams and leaders across the company to ensure clear and effective internal communications that support our mission and values. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative storytelling, culture building, targeted writing and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Internal Communication Strategy

Create and implement an internal communication strategy that aligns with St. Croix Hospice's brand, mission, vision and values. Ensure that all internal communication materials maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity. Create and manage communications plans to support the needs of the organization.

Content Creation and Management

Write, edit, plan and curate engaging content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, and emails. Develop a creative and informative content calendar and materials that keep employees informed and inspired. Collaborate with leaders and department heads on internal communication to ensure employees are informed, engaged and driven to retention.

Employee Engagement

Foster a sense of community and belonging within the organization, through planning and executing engaging and information content.

Change Management Support

Provide communication support during times of organizational change, ensuring that employees understand and are engaged in the transition.

Measurement and Reporting

Use data and analytics to measure the impact and effectiveness of internal communications efforts. Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

The starting salary range for this role is $52,250-$57,750 annual base salary.  This range is a good faith estimate; we may pay more or less than the posted range, and this range may be modified in the future.  Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.  The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
