Description

PURPOSE STATEMENT: To create physically impeccable environments for kids, students and adults in order to prevent any distraction from the gospel message, teaching and truth.
 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regularly inspect the church premises for areas of need or concern
  • Coordinate and complete assigned building projects in a timely manner (meeting deadlines is extremely important)
  • Assist with keeping a clean and presentable facility
  • Ensure proper room setup for meetings, classes and events
  • Support the ministry goals of One Community Church through the application of expertise primarily in areas including maintenance, grounds, building operations, and mechanical systems
  • When necessary and with prior approval, contact applicable outside vendors to facilitate repairs, ensuring competitive and fair pricing
  • Review all outside vendor invoices to ensure and verify satisfactory completion 2400 State Highway 121 ● Plano, TX 75025 ● 469-854-1290 ● www.visitonecc.com
  • Coordinate the maintenance of the plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems including performing minor repairs and when possible, major repairs or replacements
  • Ensure compliance and implementation of facility policies put in place by leadership
  • Organize and retain maintenance records for the building, contacts of outside vendors/volunteers, and annual/seasonal maintenance checklists
  • General knowledge of building maintenance, general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and custodial skills
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary by supervising

  • Must show a faithful pursuit of leadership characteristics as listed in 1Tim.3.
  • Must be able to exercise initiative and judgment as an independent worker.
  • Must possess organizational and administration abilities.
  • Must be able to respond to changing needs throughout the daily and weekly schedule.
