Production Team Member

A Production Team Member makes art while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. A Production Team Member is a go-getter and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues to Team Leads.

 

A Production Team Member must work daily to live “One Wendover”, embody Wendover’s Core Values of Honor, Team, Excellence, and Smart, and have the daily discipline to continually improve every 90 days.

Physical Requirements

  • Reasonable accommodations are available
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to stand at workstation for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motion tasks including bending, twisting, and squatting
  • Must be able to use both hands and arms in a repetitive environment

 

Qualifications

  • On the job training available
  • Experience working in manufacturing is strongly preferred
  • Capable of reading and understanding basic instructions
  • Working with machinery and hand tools
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be able to work from 7 AM – 3:30 PM Monday - Friday with occasional overtime

Stand up forklift, sit down forklift, stock picker & fall protection certified

Make ERP changes for Warehouse and A Frame bin location

Demonstrate understanding of moulding picking (boxes & individual sticks)

Waste disposal & cardboard / glass recycling (machines & functionality)

Read schedule and execute EOD Rounds

Print

Print, cut & receive all other media types

Correctly find & load images for print and to cutting on the Zund

Correctly pack wall vinyl

Make ERP changes for Warehouse & Bin locations

Identify all materials in area

Mount images to foam (seal machine)

Read schedule & quality of pieces prior to movement to shelf or line

Mat

WAG assembly & Volume assembly

Glue roller & Mat cutting machines

Identify all materials in area

Review quality and put away finished pieces prior to movement to the line

Hand Finishing

Execute all HF applications by locating, understanding and following SOPs

Identify all materials in area

Review quality of pieces prior to movement to the line

Specialty

Gold Leaf, crackle & special paint application

Setting and preparing fabrics, shadowbox prep

Read / execute Zund patterns & shadow placements

Identify all materials in area

Review quality of pieces prior to movement to the line

Wood

Saw, Join & Putty (Canvas Frames included)

Read schedule, production sheet and execute cut plan

Review quality of frames prior to movement to the line

Line

Fit (straight fit, shadowboxes, canvas, mirrors, glass spacers, metal & paper backing)

Deconstruction / Reclamation of a damaged inventory piece

Hardware (security, template usage & awl usage) and Corners

Special Media (VHB tape rolling & correct pre-packing)

Prep (read Production Form and labels)

Review Quality of pieces before they are passed to Quality Control

Canvas

Assembly of subframes (including hardboard)

Hand & Machine stretch

Read production labels/paperwork to validate sizing and Prep pieces for stretch

Review Quality of pieces prior to movement to the line

Pack

Bulk pack (correctly create & prepare pallets for all art and mirrors)

Individual boxing (measure pieces, match paperwork and follow customer requirements)

Correctly palletize wall vinyl

Pallet wrapping (manual & on the machine)

Prepping all security hardware, labeling and packing

Pallet label (correctly fill out HV label & print lost label)

Demonstrate ability to properly report weights & dimensions on a pack list

Correct utilization of the box machine

Shipping

Forklift certified

Process, sort & label Drop Ship

Complete outbound shipping worksheet

Read BOL’s and validate papers to shipments

Manage trailer seals
