EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or closely related field preferred.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATIONS
- 20-44 or 2-20 Insurance License must be obtained within 90 days of employment (company paid).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Job operates primarily in a remote work environment. Employees will be provided with equipment which is essential to their job duties. The employee is required to have an internet speed of less than 20 mbps on the ping/latency for ideal phone call quality, at least 20 mbps download, and 20 mbps upload. Remote workers must be able to provide a quiet and distraction-free working space to ensure productivity and attentiveness.
To foster TypTap’s commitment to creating a collaborative work environment, remote workers will be required to report to a central office location for one week every quarter for collaboration, team building, and educational exercises. Attendance during collaboration weeks is a vital component of our team culture, and therefore mandatory unless exceptions are approved through Human Resources. Additionally, employees may be asked to report to the office outside of collaboration weeks as project requirements, team meetings, or other organizational needs that necessitate in-person collaboration occur. During this time, the employee will be exposed to normal office environment conditions and temperatures. Noise level is low to moderate.

The role requires sitting for long periods of time, as well as working with a computer, headset, and other electronic screens.
