Bartender

OVERVIEW Occasions Catering, Denver’s longest-serving catering company of over 50 years, is always looking for quality individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Loading and unloading of catering equipment from trucks and vans. Set up for events by setting up bar area and stocking inventory and glassware, and any other event set up required. Break down and repackage event equipment for transportation back to the Occasion HQ.  Serve event guests in a friendly and professional manner, while keeping an attentive eye on guests to ensure no one is overserved. Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

QUALIFICATIONS Previous Bartending experience is required. Ability to follow directions, adapt quickly and make changes when needed. Knowledge of fine dining, wine and service a plus. Must have access to reliable transportation. All Bartenders must be TIPS certified. We offer TIPS certification classes throughout the year, to our employees. 

OTHER DUTIES Frequently walking and standing for extended periods of time, possibly extended distances; ability to bend and climb stairs when necessary. Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
