Service Staff

OVERVIEW Occasions Catering, Denver’s longest-serving catering company of over 50 years, is always looking for quality individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Loading and unloading of catering equipment from trucks and vans Set up for events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement, setting up a buffet and setting ceremony seating Break down and repackage event equipment for transportation back to the Occasion HQ Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests Keep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils Serve event guests in a friendly and profession manner Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness

QUALIFICATIONS Previous Restaurant or Banquet service experience preferred, but not mandatory. Ability to follow directions, adapt quickly and make changes when needed. Knowledge of fine dining, wine, and bartending a plus Access to reliable transportation

OTHER DUTIES Frequently walking and standing for extended periods of time, possibly extended distances; ability to bend and climb stairs when necessary. Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
