Description

The Department of Business Analytics and Information Systems at Iona University’s LaPenta School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning Fall 2025. Qualified candidates should hold a Ph.D. in a field closely related to Business Analytics, Operations Research, Operations Management, Decision Sciences, or Information Systems from an accredited institution and demonstrate a proven record of, or potential for, high-quality research and teaching.

Candidates with strong interests and expertise in Artificial Intelligence, along with good knowledge in Operations Research, Operations Management, and Data Analytics/Visualization are encouraged to apply. The successful candidates will teach core undergraduate and MBA courses in Information Systems/Business Analytics as well as selected upper-level field courses relevant to their research area

 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

- A Ph.D. in Information Systems, Analytics, Operations Management, Operations Research, Management Science, Business Intelligence, Statistics, or related fields from an accredited institution. 

- ABD candidates (those completing their Ph.D. by August 2025) are encouraged to apply. 

- A strong research agenda evidenced by peer-reviewed publications or conference presentations. 

- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
