Iona University seeks applications for the position of Head Club Women’s Lacrosse Coach. Reporting to the Director of Club Sports. The Head Club Women’s Lacrosse Coach is responsible for all aspects of the club program as well as being committed to the academic mission of the University. The Head Club Women’s Lacrosse Coach teaches the sport of baseball to student-athletes, and provides for coaching, recruitment and retention of women’s lacrosse players.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be knowledgeable of, and abide by, all University and campus policies, league policies, campus recreational policies and conference/league requirements.
  • Plan, organize and lead the operations for the club sport program including coaching, fundraising, budgeting and travel arrangements.
  • Travel with and supervise team at home and away games to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • It is important for the Head Club Women’s Lacrosse Coach to have a background in the sport with a minimum bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Collegiate Women’s Lacrosse rules and regulations.
  • They must grasp the current Women’s Lacrosse strategies and techniques.
  • Posses a valid driver’s license
