Description

The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at Iona University invites applications for Adjunct Instructors to teach general chemistry and/or organic chemistry courses during the 2024-2025 academic year. The successful candidate(s) will demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence in undergraduate courses, enthusiasm for working as part of an instructional team, and strong organization and communication skills.

 

 

Salary Range: $1248 - $1531 per credit based on course level and qualifications

Qualifications

Required qualifications: a Master’s degree or higher in chemistry, chemical education, or a related field and two semesters of teaching experience in undergraduate courses and/or AP chemistry.
