Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
Specialized Skills:
- Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task under deadlines
- Excellent organization skills are essential
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA and/or MBA in related business concentration
- Understanding of investment accounting
- Understanding of debt financing and related accounting
- Ability to understand, analyze and forecast cashflow, including accounts receivable, government funds, grant funds and other higher education related items
- Finance audit practices knowledge
- Higher education experience
- PeopleSoft knowledge a plus
- Bank of America CashPro and Fundriver knowledge a plus
