SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Cornerstone seeks a full-time Manager to lead our external communications initiatives and improve the firm’s online presence. This position is based in Washington, D.C. This is not a client service position. The Communications Manager will be responsible for several tasks including, but not limited to:
- Craft timely press releases and build relevant press lists for distribution;
- Create and design quarterly firm newsletter;
- Oversee and manage day-to-day activity on various social media platforms, including but not limited to X and LinkedIn;
- Manage firm’s Website via WordPress, including optimizing content for search engines via SEO & SEM strategies;
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, and provide actionable insights to improve;
- Utilize Photoshop, Canva and other design tools to maintain designed marketing materials, create event invites, social media graphics, informational flyers, sponsorships and ads, signage, etc.;
- Order and maintain branded items for internal and external events; and
- Maintain email marketing campaigns utilizing MailChimp.
