The IT Business Enablement Build team is currently looking for an IT Development Manager who will be responsible for leading the development of solutions for our Customers, Suppliers and Employees.
This individual will work closely with business and IT resources to ensure features deployed meet the needs of the business and are of high quality and availability. They are also accountable for day-to-day performance of the development team, operation, architecture and design discussions, and backlog management. This candidate will also ensure the team has appropriate & high technical competence through career development and performance assessments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Career development, coaching and evaluation
- Continuously growing the technical competencies of the team members
- Effectively communicate to both IT resources and business resources, including leadership
- Run the day-to-day needs of the team
- Perform manager functions such as performance reviews, team meetings and daily needs of the resources and team
- Participate in prioritization of key initiatives
- Lead the Bright Ideas process for gathering the voice of the customer and working with leadership to evaluate business benefit
- Manage the development team backlog and roadmaps
- Partner with business leadership across 4 companies to discuss the needs of the business and help translate the needs to the development scrum team and create epics/stories and identify the business value
- Lead the maturity of the DevOps and agile processes
- Help lead cross enterprise projects and change management
